About The Position

St. Mary's Medical Center is looking for a Full time Pre-certification
Clerk that would be responsible for ensuring all services provided are reviewed
for pre-certification and/or pre- authorization requirements. Using resources
available, will obtain certifications and/or authorizations in accordance with
medical center policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of registration experience preferred.
• Communicates clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
• Establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations
• Able to work effectively with other employees, patients and external parties
• Demonstrates proficiency in PC applications as required
• Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate properly, spell correctly and transcribe accurately.
