About The Position

We are seeking a Pre-Analytical Services Associate, Lab Services to join IQVIA’s laboratory business at Valencia, CA. Shift: Wednesday-Friday 12:00pm-8:30pm, Saturday-Sunday 10:00am-6:30pm In this role, you will assist with routine activities related to the receipt and processing of clinical specimens, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely workflow. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate reporting procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage workflow effectively.
• Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints).
• Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
• Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling specimens and documentation.
• Good organizational and communication skills for team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receipt of consignments and shipments.
• Open shipments and perform quality checks on patient information forms; escalate issues to senior staff.
• Dispose of or recycle kit shipping supplies appropriately.
• Conduct secondary checks to ensure specimens are not left in kit packaging.
• Support and respond to after-hour alarms and other critical functions.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and supply inventory functions.
• Perform administrative duties and maintain organized work areas.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in continuing education activities.
