About The Position
The Pre-Analytical Assistant I is responsible for general support functions within the Technical Operations Department. This position involves working night shifts from Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM. The role requires the ability to learn job duties assigned and develop an understanding of how all functions in Tech Ops and Specimen Processing work together, impacting Technical departments and resulting quality. The assistant will identify problems with specimen types and missing information, ensuring timely problem resolution. Compliance with test ordering policies and meeting quality and production standards within six months of training completion is essential. The position also involves completing required documentation, adhering to attendance guidelines, and learning additional functions for career progression.
