Requirements

  • APRN Certification – FNP Required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records and anesthesia information management systems
  • Skill in case management, time management, and problem-solving
  • Ability to analyze complex data and draw conclusions
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team-based decision-making culture

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in pre-operative or post-operative care preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-anesthesia care services including pre-anesthesia evaluation
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other clinicians to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough medical histories, physical examinations, order and review diagnostic tests as needed, place medication orders
  • Educate patients and families on anesthesia options, risks, and post-operative care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction
