Assists the Executive Director of Practicum Development in practicum placements for the Distance Education program.
Requirements
Master of Social Work Degree required
3+ years of experience as both a Practicum Instructor and Practicum Liaison
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook
Responsibilities
Develops new opportunities for Practicum placement assignments through professional networks, community partnerships, collaborations with non-profits and other schools in the Touro system
Works collaboratively with online students to identify, vet, and facilitate practicum development placements
Assists in reviewing and revising Practicum documents such as Practicum Registration Forms, Practicum Manual, Practicum FAQS, to reflect current procedures and protocols for online program.
When requested, consults with educational coordinators and Practicum instructors to assess appropriate assignments, review responsibilities, support student learning needs, and provide conflict resolution and resources as needed
