About The Position

The Practice Operations Supervisor will oversee the General Surgery Clinic in Lisle, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality patient care. This full-time position requires participation in planning discussions, managing staff schedules, and assessing work outcomes. The supervisor will also handle human resources responsibilities, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations, while addressing patient satisfaction and representing the practice within the community.

Requirements

• Current IL RN License or Medical Assistant experience.
• Associates and or Bachelor's degree in Health care or Business Management preferred.
• If a clinical professional, current licensure in good standing required.
• Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA.
• Prefer a minimum of two years in a supervisory role in a health care setting.

Responsibilities

• Participates in planning discussions with input into goals for the Practice.
• Responsible for assessing work against expected outcomes: productivity, quality, timeliness.
• Tracks and trends work outcomes and recommends improvements in work processes.
• Hires, orients, and trains staff.
• Conducts performance appraisals, coaches and disciplines staff.
• Ensures work expectations and responsibilities are communicated and understood.
• Responds to patient complaints and works to resolve them.
• Represents the Practice to other management associates and may participate in committees.
