About The Position

The Practice Operations Supervisor for the General Surgery Clinic in Lisle is a full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week, with hours varying between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The role encompasses multiple locations including Lisle, Naperville, Hindsdale, Bloomingdale, Hoffman Estates, Elmhurst, Glen Ellyn, Lombard, Winfield, and Schaumburg. The supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the practice, ensuring that staff and resources are effectively managed to meet the needs of the clinic.

Requirements

  • Current IL RN License or Medical Assistant experience.
  • Associates and/or Bachelor's degree in Health care or Business Management preferred.
  • If a clinical professional, current licensure in good standing required.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
  • Minimum of two years in a supervisory role in a health care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in planning discussions with input into goals for the Practice, focusing on staff and physician schedules to ensure resources are available for daily workloads.
  • Responsible for assessing work against expected outcomes such as productivity, quality, and timeliness; tracks and trends work outcomes and recommends improvements in work processes.
  • Hires, orients, and trains staff; conducts performance appraisals, coaches and disciplines staff, and ensures work expectations and policies are communicated and understood.
  • Responds to patient complaints and works to resolve them, involving the Practice Manager if necessary.
  • Represents the Practice to other Duly Health and Care management associates and may participate in Ad Hoc or Standing Committees, acting as a representative of Duly Health and Care in the community.
