The Practice Operations Analyst is responsible for creating, managing, analyzing, and executing projects identified to standardize and strengthen operations, practices, and processes across Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute. The Practice Operations Analyst provides expertise in working with a cross-functional 'problem-solving team' charged with resolving identified program, practice, or process problems. Actively facilitates discussion with subject matter experts in area of focus and organizational leaders to draw out and document potential risks, inefficiencies, and then facilitates identification of mitigation plans. This role requires occasional onsite presence, as needed, to observe workflows firsthand, validate data with real-time insights, and ensure context-driven decision making. The person in this role coordinates with Operations leadership on change management communications to ensure optimal implementation and minimal disruptions. The person in this role also will assist with presentations and implementation of strategic initiatives.

  • Be seen as knowledgeable in practice operations and operations KPIs.
  • Analyze Operations KPIs to find trends, make recommendations, and articulate change needed.
  • Implement changes to improve Operations and enhance current workflows.
  • Participate in and implement solutions aligned with strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinates with Operations Leadership to provide operational metrics and updates on projects.
  • Serve as a thought partner to Operations by identifying areas of inefficiency and recommending practical improvements.
  • Support process design, standardization, and change management efforts across sites and departments.
  • Travel onsite as needed to observe workflows, validate data, and support operational assessments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or other healthcare related field required.
  • Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations required.
  • Understanding of clinical/business fundamentals.
  • Experience within complex healthcare environment and demonstrated success with operational oversight.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
  • Second language is an asset but not required.
