About The Position
The position is for a nursing role at a provider's office located in Lebanon, PA, requiring 32 hours of work per week. The office hours are structured from Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM, with a rotation for Saturday shifts. The role includes providing nursing services to patients across various age groups, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The position is designed to deliver comprehensive patient care, which encompasses clinical advice, patient education, and direct nursing interventions. The nursing responsibilities include preparing patients for visits, administering medications and injections, assisting with minor procedures, performing point-of-care testing, and managing laboratory specimens. The nurse will also be involved in care coordination, ensuring that patients receive appropriate follow-up and outreach for preventive and chronic disease services. Active participation in performance improvement initiatives and daily huddles with the provider is expected to enhance patient experience and care quality. Additionally, the role emphasizes the importance of maintaining confidentiality and professionalism while interacting with patients, visitors, and colleagues. The nurse will also handle various front office responsibilities as needed and may require some regional travel, necessitating a valid driver's license. This position does not involve on-call rotation or holiday shifts, making it a structured role with a focus on patient care and support.
