About The Position

The Practice Manager at Oak Street Health is responsible for leading and managing operations at a primary care clinic, ensuring alignment with company values and standards. This role involves supervising both clinical and non-clinical team members, driving operational initiatives, and focusing on patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including occasional evenings
  • Proficient PC skills
  • US work authorization
  • Strong embodiment of being 'Oaky'

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field
  • 5 or more years of experience in a supervisory role within a clinical setting
  • Fluency in Spanish or other languages spoken by the communities served
  • Experience successfully driving teams towards achievement of metrics
  • Experience with Google Suite

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, supervise, coach, mentor and manage a multi-disciplinary team of 15+
  • Ensure the center is a Great Place to Work and that teams are engaged and thriving
  • Ensure clinic operations run smoothly and safely daily, including adequate staffing and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures
  • Provide an unmatched patient experience and manage service recovery as needed
  • Drive results for patients by ensuring standard meetings and best practices for preventive care are followed
  • Lead the implementation of in-clinic operational initiatives and train the team on new workflows
  • Ensure efficient execution of patient scheduling processes
  • Oversee clinical and community areas, addressing building-related issues in partnership with the Facilities team
  • Monitor task completion using proprietary software and reporting systems
