About The Position
The primary duties of the Practice Manager are to plan, coordinate, direct, and supervise overall operations of the assigned group. The Practice Manager will accurately orient and train support staff and providers on systems to assure compliance with regulations, policies and procedures of TidalHealth. The Practice Manager will oversee patient services and implement standard work policies for employees. Accuracy, good judgment and the ability to handle pressure are necessary for the satisfaction of this position. Responsibilities include ensuring proper utilization of instruments, equipment and supplies, maintaining equipment, ordering and monitoring supplies, implementing practice operating policies, monitoring day-to-day operations, ensuring work assignments are completed according to company standards, and monitoring key quality measures. The Practice Manager will also provide timely information to the Director of Cardiology and Director of Specialty Practices, make timely decisions, adhere to policies and procedures, interact courteously with all, participate in team-based patient-centered care, gather and report data, and ensure compliance with audits. Additionally, the Practice Manager is responsible for hiring, conducting evaluations, coordinating schedules, completing payroll, training staff, mentoring supervisors, participating in the budget process, monitoring financial measures, and ensuring daily cash reconciliation.
