The Clinical Manager acts as the clinical leader and staff supervisor who oversees the performance, daily operations, programs, and activities of assigned clinical staff under the direction of the Regional Director of Ambulatory Nursing. 2. The Clinical Manager functions as a resource person to the staff and health professionals within the department. They ensure that established protocols are followed and that staff members provide quality care to patients and their caregivers as champions of Best Practice. 3. The Clinical Manager will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family members.

Requirements

  • Effective 3/1/18 Bachelor of Science in Nursing OR enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program within 6 months AND obtain a BSN within 4 years of hire date into RN position. Previous signed BSN commitment letter OR grandfathering will be accepted between departments and Mission Health entities. Exemptions may be approved with CNO System Council approval.
  • Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON.
  • Certificate: BLS Healthcare Provider
  • At least 3 years of experience in Nursing.
  • Computer skills must include EHR, word processing, internet, and email.
  • Must have strong leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Nursing or BSN with MBA or MHA Business management or leadership training.
  • 4+ years in Nursing and previous supervisory or charge nurse experience.
  • Experience with spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel), database software, and Kronos timekeeping software.
