As the Practice Manager at Cayuga Immediate Care and Cortland Urgent Care, core outcomes include efficient clinic operations, high patient satisfaction, and financial stability. Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience in budget management and financial reporting for healthcare practices (3+years)
  • Strong leadership skills, including team management and staff development (3+ years)
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance and audit processes (2+ years)
  • Experience with patient satisfaction initiatives and customer service strategies (2+ years)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in healthcare management
  • Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE)
  • Advanced degree in healthcare administration or a related field
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or equivalent process improvement training
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a fiscal plan for the practice, monitor patient revenues, and control operating expenses
  • Ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction and resolve complaints within required time frames
  • Facilitate staff hiring, training, and ongoing professional development
  • Oversee regulatory compliance, including timely audits and updates on state regulations affecting the practice
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and manage operational changes effectively
