Requirements

  • Bachelors required
  • 5 to 10 years progressive experience in managing medical practice
  • Knowledge of practice operations, accounting and human resources

Responsibilities

  • Be a leader that creates a positive staff culture
  • Ensure excellence in patient, employee and physician satisfaction
  • Oversee all practice operations
  • Disseminate and enforce policies and procedures
  • Manage all aspects of the care centers compliance and risk management
  • Must be a knowledgeable super-user on all staff positions in the care center
  • Must maintain super-user knowledge up-to-date and current
  • Works with HR department on functions including: hiring new employees, progressive discipline, performance reviews and terminating employees
  • Responsible for staffing schedules based on needs
  • Responsible for training and coaching all staff
  • Ensure proper use of office equipment by designated personnel
  • Responsible for physician schedules and templates in practice management system
  • Responsible for care center purchasing decisions; working with preferred vendors; ordering supplies; and managing inventory
  • Set annual budgets and financial planning goals
  • Approve invoices & bills for payment as per policies & procedures to ensure compliance to financial budgets
  • Review daily routing tickets for appropriate charge collections
  • Work with accounting department in approving all accounts payables
  • Work with credentialing department in obtaining physician signatures or documentation
  • Work with Revenue Cycle department to ensure maximized reimbursement is achieved
  • Work with HR department and communicate all employee relation issues
  • Work with IT department and communicate needs or deficiencies
  • Work with CEO on practice operations
  • Promote the practice group brand and the care center physicians
  • Monitor workflow dashboard and open tasks
  • Review daily routing tickets for appropriate charge collections
  • Attend scheduled managers meetings at executive office
  • Prepare monthly financial reports; Weekly Cash Flow, Physician Productivity Report, Profit and Loss, A/R report by Insurance, etc.
  • Scheduling and coordinating monthly physician meeting
  • Maintain physical appearance and organization of the office
  • Coordinate regular staff meetings
  • Requires travel to multiple offices
  • Other duties as assigned
