The role focuses on daily performance, issue resolution, and organizational improvements using metrics and best practices, while collaborating with peers and other departments. Additionally, it ensures effective time and resource management, staff morale, productivity, quality, safety, and maintaining low turnover rates. Requirements

  • Management experience
  • Healthcare or insurance benefits knowledge
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to travel between Albany and Philomath

Responsibilities

  • Patient Flow Management: Oversees reception, provider schedule utilization, co-payment collection, back office, and ancillary services
  • Physician Support: Enables efficient and effective use of physician time
  • Revenue Cycle Practices: Maintains accurate demographic and insurance information, clean claims drop, ensures exhaustive charge collection and billing, and pursues payment processes
  • Staff Management: Recruits, hires, orients, disciplines, and evaluates staff; serves as a role model and mentor
  • Financial and Operational Oversight: Develops and monitors budgets, manages supply ordering, coordinates practice moves/renovations, and handles patient/staff complaints
