About The Position

The Practice Manager of a Federally Qualified Health Clinic is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring quality care delivery, and fostering collaboration among clinical, administrative, and support staff within the Primary Care and Womens Health service line. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of both Primary Care and Womens Health services, coupled with strong organizational skills to maintain efficiency and compliance across all facets of the clinic.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in managing a healthcare facility, preferably with a focus on Primary Care and Womens Health services within an FQHC framework.
  • Ability to lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams while fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with patients, staff, and stakeholders effectively.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and data management tools.
  • Capacity to address operational challenges proactively and implement practical solutions.

  • Professional coding, billing, or revenue cycle knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate clinic operations to provide seamless delivery of Primary Care and Womens Health services within the framework of an FQHC.
  • Ensure the clinic complies with regulatory standards, including local, state, federal, and FQHC-specific guidelines.
  • Optimize workflows and streamline processes to improve patient experience and staff efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage the clinics budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources while maintaining high service standards and fiscal sustainability.
  • Revenue Cycle Management responsibilities to include financial processes that track patient care from registration and appointment scheduling to the final payment of a balance.
  • Ensure accurate patient registration, proper documentation and coding of services, effective patient collections, and regular reporting and analysis of revenue cycle metrics.
  • Develop staffing structures that best meet the goals of high-quality care and patient satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise clinical and administrative staff, ensuring alignment with the clinics mission and values.
  • Foster a culture of continuous development through professional training opportunities for staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and address any issues to ensure optimal productivity and morale.
  • Develop and oversee Primary Care and Womens Health services to meet the comprehensive needs of patients.
  • Ensure appointment scheduling and patient flow are managed effectively to minimize wait times and maximize satisfaction.
  • Implement quality assurance protocols to monitor patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for expanding services in Primary Care and Womens Health to address community needs while adhering to FQHC regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategic initiatives that enhance the clinics reach and impact.
  • Analyze data on clinic performance and community health trends to inform decision-making and future goals.
