About the position
The Practice Manager role at Computacenter involves line management of approximately 20 project managers, with full commercial and contractual responsibility for successful project outcomes. The position requires collaboration with various functions within the organization to enhance project delivery capabilities and support customer strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and align with Winning Together values.
- Manage the delivery of customer engagements and oversee around 10 project managers, with regional travel essential.
- Ensure assurance, governance, and customer satisfaction in project delivery.
- Continuously innovate the Practice capability to support business strategy.
- Support growth through the development and delivery of standardized, competitive service offerings.
- Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise within the Practice and to external stakeholders.
- Manage operational and commercial aspects of the team to achieve financial targets and improve productivity and quality.
- Foster a high-performance culture by developing, retaining, and attracting top talent.
- Embrace and support Computacenter's mission and core values.
Requirements
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- 5+ years of management experience.
- Recent experience leading delivery of large-scale IT infrastructure projects, ideally on a workplace platform for a professional service organization.
- Experience in applying appropriate governance and control in overseeing project delivery.
- Demonstrable evidence of developing individuals and teams, with a passion for enhancing team capabilities.
- Innovative leadership skills with a focus on improving customer outcomes.
