About The Position

Corewell Health Pediatric Behavioral Health provides essential support to kids and teens across Metro Detroit, and we are seeking a Practice Manager to help lead this important work. In this role, you will oversee two pediatric behavioral health locations in Southfield and Grosse Pointe that provide testing, therapy, and psychiatry services for children aged 18 months to 17 years. Our programs include: Center for Human Development This team evaluates and treats children experiencing developmental and behavioral challenges, including: Learning disabilities ADHD Intellectual disorders Autism spectrum disorders Ted Lindsay Foundation HOPE Center The HOPE Center offers a range of behavioral therapy services, such as: Brief behavioral consultation Focused behavioral therapy Intensive Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) in a preschool‑like setting ABA parent training Social skills groups Psychotherapy services Pediatric Behavioral Health Our psychiatry team provides: Diagnostic evaluations Medication management for children and adolescents This leadership role directly supports the teams who help families navigate developmental, behavioral, and mental health needs, making a meaningful impact in the community. Scope of work Responsible for the activities of team members within practice(s) and oversees the delivery of optimal patient flow and patient satisfaction in collaboration with dyad partner. Trains team members and serve as a liaison between providers, team members and director in daily operations. Responsible for charge capture processing, standard work, process improvement and practice staffing. Manages team member performance and development and ensures policy adherence.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in business, management or other related area Required.
  • Three (3) years of relevant healthcare, medical practice or related work experience Required.
  • 2+ years of recent and relevant supervisory or management experience Required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, management or other related area strongly Preferred.
  • Experience utilizing an electronic health record system Preferred.
