About The Position

The Practice Manager III provides senior-level operational leadership for a region or service line within the orthopedic group. This role has significant responsibility for multi-site performance, physician partnership, financial outcomes, and strategic initiatives, including growth, acquisitions, and operational transformation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degreerequired
• 8–10+ years of progressive healthcare operations leadership
• Significant multi-site orthopedic or surgical practice management experience
• Executive-level leadership and strategic thinking
• Advanced financial and operational acumen
• Proven success leading through change and growth

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree (MHA, MBA, MPH, or related) strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead regional orthopedic clinic operations across multiple sites
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with organizational goals
• Partner with physician leaders on access, growth, and clinical integration initiatives
• Own operational KPIs including productivity, labor management, patient experience, and financial performance
• Oversee managers and senior supervisors; mentor emerging leaders
• Lead due diligence and integration efforts for acquisitions or new sites
• Ensure compliance with NYS, federal, and accreditation standards
• Serve as a key operational liaison to executive leadership and private equity partners
• Drive standardization, scalability, and best-practice implementation across the region
