A nonexempt position responsible for the nursing care under the supervision of physicians, providers and/or registered nurse(s). This role may involve both clinical and administrative duties, including physical assessments, medication administration, promoting wellness through patient education, caring for the patient environment, and performing organizational tasks. The LPN is expected to maintain a working knowledge of regulatory standards and ensure compliance in daily operations, as well as initiate and implement patient teaching plans. Clinical direction, oversight, and competency review are provided by medical providers and the ambulatory professional development team in coordination with office management.
