Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Practice Leader to build and lead an Environmental Practice in Seattle, WA! Responsibilities Has an entrepreneurial spirit and create a vision for growth for our Environmental practice team while growing their own projects, clients and team around them. We are seeking a leader with background in business development, managing relationships with clients, supporting and leading environmental planning projects, and leading and mentoring team members. Develop a comprehensive project plan that outlines objectives, timelines, and resource allocation. Project Managers are encouraged to pursue opportunities that fuel their professional passion and contribute to firmwide success. Leadership responsibilities include: Lead a team while building and managing relationships with key clients. Operate with integrity and sound business principles. Provide practice vision, business planning and strategy, establishing goals, building and maintaining positive client relationships. Open communication with partners and team, along with growing and directing a Community Planning Services practice. Manage projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, help recruit, and be a positive role model. Facilitate communication and collaboration with clients, government agencies, landowners, and other relevant stakeholders. Ensure that the project adheres to zoning regulations, environmental laws, and other legal requirements. Identify potential risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
