About The Position

The Practice Lead focuses on business development and plays an integral role in managing and growing RESPEC’s water services. This role works closely with sector leadership, directly manages an integrated project‑technical team, and is responsible for recruiting in locations where RESPEC could expand or strengthen its water services. Requirements

• Bachelor’s or masters of science degree in civil, environmental engineering, or a closely related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in South Dakota
• Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in water resources engineering, stormwater design, and hydrology/hydraulics
• Experience with CAD, GIS and modeling software such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RES, RAS 2D, SMS SRH2D, InfoWorks ICM, StormCAD, or SWMM
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel
