About The Position

The Practice Development Specialist at Analysis Group plays a crucial role in supporting senior consultants and practice area leaders by coordinating and executing marketing events, sponsorships, and practice-specific activities. This position focuses on enhancing market visibility and facilitating business development through collaboration with various teams, including marketing and research. The specialist will engage with practice members to understand client needs and assist in developing pitches, proposals, and marketing collateral.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of substantive relevant experience required, ideally 4-6 years.
  • Prior experience in practice/business development and/or marketing required, preferably in a professional services or legal setting.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and interest in learning the firm's work.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to gain consensus through influence.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with experience management and CRM tools.
  • Strong Microsoft Office capability, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with practice members to understand client business needs and corresponding solutions.
  • Assist in planning and facilitating practice area meetings and coordinating follow-up tasks.
  • Help develop pitches and proposals, including responses to formal RFPs.
  • Secure and draft case descriptions, experience content, and expert biographies for the firm's experience database.
  • Collaborate with the Editorial team to develop marketing collateral and ensure materials are updated.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage profile-raising events and speaking opportunities.
  • Work with research teams to develop practice goals and prioritize activities.
  • Identify thought leadership opportunities for individuals and key affiliates.
  • Coordinate practice-specific publications and client mailings, reviewing analytics to assess outcomes.
