The position is within the WFBMG University Group Practice at WFBMC Main - Surgery: Vascular, and is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The role involves working closely with the Practice Manager to coordinate and administer policies, procedures, and programs for the practice setting. The individual will support the Practice Manager in managing day-to-day operations and procedures, ensuring effective patient care and compliance with practice service commitments. Responsibilities include managing work schedules, addressing patient complaints, coordinating human resources functions, and participating in marketing and business development activities.

  • Works closely with Practice Manager on the direction, coordination and administration of policies, procedures and programs for the practice setting.
  • Delivers cost-effective health care services by supporting the practice manager in managing day-to-day operations.
  • Establishes work schedules, task assignments, and allocation of manpower, space and equipment.
  • Satisfies treatment and service requirements by following clinical guidelines and facilitating collaboration between clinical and administrative staff.
  • Assists practice manager to ensure the resolution of and/or handles patient complaints or problems.
  • Coordinates various human resources functions at the practice site.
  • Provides input to the practice manager for performance appraisals and coaching needs.
  • Works with Practice Manager to manage budgetary activities.
  • Participates in marketing and business development activities.
  • Ensures adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Serves as liaison with all levels of administration, providers and outside organizations.
  • Maintains building Safety Plan and related records.
  • Assures conformity by all employees and resources to corporate values and policies.
  • Participates in regular team meetings and continuous quality improvement activities.
  • Associate's degree with healthcare or business management experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and applications including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, practice management systems, and electronic health records.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • People management skills.
