About The Position

Baystate Health, Western Massachusetts’s premier healthcare provider, is looking for a Full-time Practice Associate to join our experienced Employee Health Services team in Springfield, MA. RESPONSIBILITIES: Baystate Health’s Practice Associates perform a wide range of administrative and clerical support duties, including program monitoring, appointment scheduling, reception services, record maintenance, data entry, and general office support. This role supports clinical operations by ensuring accurate documentation, timely communication, and efficient coordination of services. SCHEDULE: Full-time, 40 hours a week Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm No weekends, No holidays LOCATION : 2 Medical Center Drive Springfield, MA QUALIFICATIONS: Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ only academic center and tertiary care provider has a long and proud tradition of continuous learning and improvement. The base pay range shown above considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This base pay range does not include our comprehensive benefits package and any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, required
  • Must have at least two years experience as a Patient Service Rep II
  • Great interpersonal skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment a MUST
  • Medical terminology, keyboard, Microsoft office products, schedule systems, medical records (electronic and paper), billing, basic math, language, reading and writing, customer service
