The listed pay range or pay rate reflects compensation for a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) position. Actual compensation may differ depending on assigned hours and position status (e.g., part-time). Pay Range: $88,712.00 - $115,918.40 Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Position Overview ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provides operational, fiscal, and human resources management within designated group of practices. Develops and implements improvement action plans where necessary. Develops and maintains effective relationships with medical and administrative staff, patients, and public. Develops standardized operational workflows through job guides, policies, practices and procedures related to identified revenue cycle initiatives to ensure efficiencies, quality outcomes and maximized revenue. Ensures proper charge capture mechanisms are in place to support proper CPT coding. Monitors patient pay process and makes changes as needed to optimize revenue growth and cost containment. Oversees designated managers and office staff, and provides for training and professional development of practice staff and managers. Addresses complaints and exercises discretion and judgement when resolving problems; participates as an active team member for Patient Satisfaction workgroups and other quality initiatives related to specialty Responsible for overall management and maintenance of designated practices and maximizes effective and efficient utilization of space. Brings major capital expenditure issues to Division Director. Resolves technical, operational, system, and other related issues for designated practices in collaboration with offices managers and lead physicians. Ensures effective collaboration of clinical and business staff in development of policies, procedures, programs, protocols, and systems, to provide efficient and accurate patient encounters and quality of patient outcomes. As an Onboarding Project Team Member, responsible for managing recruitment, orientation and training of new office staff for practice acquisitions in designated locations/specialties, while consistently maintaining set timelines. Operates in a fiscally responsible manner to achieve operational efficiency and to adhere to established policies, practices, and procedures. Collaborates with public relations staff to coordinate and implement an ongoing marketing program which seeks to increase market share and service opportunities for designated group of practice locations. Ensures that all performance reviews, in-service education, and employee compliance issues are handled on a timely basis. Participates in appropriate meetings and on committees as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related discipline. Twelve years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Three years' management experience with time-of-service collection, patient registration, charge entry, use of electronic medical records, or operations.
  • Two years of experience in healthcare operations environment.

  • Project management experience and project management or CMPE certification preferred.
