About The Position

The Practice Administrator for Emergency Medicine at St. Joseph's Hospital plays a crucial role in supporting the operational and business functions of the practice. This position involves direct collaboration with medical directors, physician partners, and other staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality patient care. The administrator acts as a liaison between the practice and hospital leadership, manages financial aspects, and oversees various administrative tasks to enhance the practice's effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the operational administrator for the site Vituity leadership and interface for the practice to the hospital and community.
  • Serve as the front-line liaison for the provider team with hospital C-Suite, nursing leadership, nursing staff, and Vituity support team.
  • Provide executive support to the site medical director and site management team to meet contract expectations.
  • Support all site financials including contract stipends, expense reimbursements, and site payroll timecards.
  • Act as the super user for all Vituity software applications and point person for hospital software and hardware systems.
  • Provide support to Vituity providers in legal matters, including receiving and routing subpoenas and scheduling depositions.
  • Manage office operations including meeting management, office systems, supplies, site events, and customer service.
  • Facilitate daily patient census and attend daily multi-disciplinary rounds as applicable.
  • Ensure adequate coverage for clinical schedules to avoid disruption in patient care.
  • Collect, track, and analyze all site financial and operational data.
  • Manage site operational programs including Operations Meetings and Quality/Performance Improvement Programs.
