Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the nuclear industry.
  • Understanding of Level 1 and Level 2 PRA tasks and external events.
  • Experience with EPRI Risk & Reliability software and PRA codes.
  • Familiarity with NRC governing codes and standards.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Strong technical writing skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners and coordinate with diverse engineering teams to ensure project success.
  • Develop risk-informed approaches to address evolving challenges.
  • Prepare engineering calculations and analysis.
  • Conduct site visits and walkdowns.
  • Build strong relationships with clients through professional interactions.
  • Identify and promote opportunities for PRA and related risk-informed application projects.
  • Identify and promote training and industry interaction opportunities.
  • Produce high-quality engineering deliverables in accordance with project work scopes.
