About The Position

Come join the Stan Clark Companies team as a Public Relations Assistant!
Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey as a Public Relations Assistant? Join our dynamic team at Stan Clark Companies and assist the Director of Public Relations in crafting compelling marketing campaigns, including social media initiatives, press releases, radio spots, promotional materials, and event planning. Additionally, this position includes working as a member of the Eskimo Joe's mascot team!
Working with Eskimo Joe's, Mexico Joe's, Joe's Clothes, and Eskimo Joe's Promotional Products Group will be an excellent addition to your resume! This position can be pursued as a paid internship for college credit and/or as a part-time student job.

Required Availability:
20-25 hours per week
Flexible hours between 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday
Availability during school breaks
Occasional evening and weekend availability for special events

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
• Excellent writing skills with knowledge of AP Stylebook and good grammar usage
• Detail-oriented mindset and organized
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and a clean driving history

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging social media content across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, including stories, reels, and posts
• Utilize photography and graphic design skills to create visually appealing content
• Proficient in creating polls, video editing, sound integration, and text incorporation into content
• Demonstrate expertise in grammar and exercise sound judgment in content creation
• Analyze and report on social media metrics, including views, reach, and other performance indicators
• Coordinate content planning using a social media calendar
• Assist with various PR and marketing activities, such as websites, radio and TV opportunities, mascots, community events and more
