About The Position

MOR PPM Inc. seeks pipefitters for an outage in Sutherland, NE.

Requirements

• The pipefitter shall have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in their discipline.
• A minimum of two (2) years of power plant maintenance or construction work experience including two (2) years of commercial operating fossil power plant craft experience is desired.
• The pipefitter shall be familiar with OSHA rigging requirements and hand signals.
• All craft are required to have OSHA 10 prior to arriving on site.

Responsibilities

• The Pipefitter must have the ability to fit large diameter or heavy wall pipe
• Read layout drawings
• Completely lay out piping assemblies including the more complicated projects (such as concentric and eccentric reducers) from drawings
• Install pipe supports and anchor bolts
