About The Position

MOR PPM Inc. seeks a Machinist for an outage in Sutherland, NE.

Requirements

• Individuals shall have the capabilities stated above and in addition a minimum of two (2) years verifiable experience working in a machine shop environment is desired.
• All craft are required to have OSHA 10 prior to arriving on site.

Responsibilities

• Ability to set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.
• Ability to modify and/or repair mechanical instruments.
• Individuals may be required to fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools and/or maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
• Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings.
• Use and interpret precision measuring equipment.
• Working to written procedures.
• Troubleshooting

Benefits

• Per Diem: Using gsa.ogv rates $178/paid 7 days (except 1 st and last week of work – paid days worked). Permanent address must be greater than 50 miles using shortest distance calculation. No PD will be paid on days missed. Per Diem must be verified and we must retain records for audit.
• Travel In & Out: $400 in and out for those with permanent address greater than 200 miles.
• Completion Bonus (outage only): $3.00/ST and 4.50/OT to base rate. Must meet safety, attendance, and compliance site rules and finish assignment with Lay Off.
