About The Position

The PPG Medical Assistant position at Parkview Regional Medical Center involves assisting with daily clinical and clerical operations within various physician practices. Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent with GED.
  • Completion of a medical assistant program that meets certification eligibility requirements.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent certification required.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of clinical and clerical operations preferred.
  • Familiarity with computers and electronic medical records preferred.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a medical assistant or in a physician office.
  • Knowledge of service excellence and clinical quality initiatives.
