About The Position

FPL Food, LLC, the number one family-owned processor of fresh beef products and ground beef selections in Thomasville, GA is seeking qualified energetic individuals to join our Team. The PPE/Custodian is responsible for performing custodial duties and other miscellaneous duties to ensure the factory is maintained in a clean and safe operating manner.

Requirements

Ability to walk, stand, bend, climb, squat, lift, push and pull for 8-10 hours per day
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to work in cold environments that will require the use of personal protective equipment

Responsibilities

Issue supplies to employees (hairnets, beard nets, smocks, gloves (latex & cotton), sleeves, cutting gloves)
Washing/drying/folding/stocking PPE Items
Issuing of lockers & locks to new hires
Computer Skills (word & excel)
Ability to key and track inventory (latex gloves, cotton gloves, beard nets, hairnets, cutting gloves, cleaning supplies, etc.)
Performs Floor Maintenance (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, picking up debris)
Cleans doors, door frames, baseboard corners and edges
Removing debris from floor
Emptying trash cans and wastebaskets replacing liners
Cleans bathrooms ensuring they are cleaned and meet acceptable standards (cleans, disinfects urinals, toilet bowls, cleans mirrors, sinks, water fountains)
Replenishes supplies of paper towels, toilet paper, hand sanitizers, soap, defog the common areas and offices.
Ability to wash PPE and separate (gloves, cutting gloves, aprons, etc.)
