We are looking for highly motivated powertrain calibration engineers to deliver fuel economy, emissions, OBD, and drivability attributes on many different internal combustion and hybrid powertrain programs. This position involves calibration and development of leading edge aftertreatment technologies for PM, NOx, HC, and CO reduction for gasoline powertrains to meet global emissions and OBD requirements. You will evaluate and assess vehicle attributes (performance, fuel economy, emissions, diagnostics, NVH) on vehicles and engine dynamometer test cells, modify powertrain control calibrations to improve fuel economy, performance, emissions, and diagnostics, and design and conduct tests to validate engine and vehicle fuel economy, performance, emissions, and diagnostics. Additionally, you will conduct vehicle testing and development at remote locations in Arizona, Colorado, and Northern Canada.
