About The Position
The Power Plant Operator III is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the power plant and its associated control structures. This role involves operating, maintaining, and adjusting various equipment such as boilers, engines, and generators, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The operator serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and is tasked with training other operators, monitoring equipment, and performing preventative maintenance. Additionally, the operator may direct daily tasks of the power plant team under the supervision of the Facility Supervisor/Manager.
