The Powerplant Engineer provides Engineering support to the Operations, Material, Finance and Customer Service teams to ensure technical questions are addressed. In this position you will be working closely with Pratt & Whitney engineering teams onsite and other locations around the country. As a Powerplant Engineer you will be responsible for managing engine workscope, this includes level of assembly/disassembly/repair of GTF commercial engines. In addition, you will be the primary Engineering interface to the End-User/Customer and work closely with the Customer Service Managers to ensure all technical issues are resolved during a shop visit. Primary task included, authoring aircraft engine repair work scopes and performing a technical advisory role in the disassembly, repair, assembly, and testing of the GTF product line. Also lead or support process improvement projects.
