About The Position

Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat and support vehicles. As a prime mover in ground force capabilities, this firm provides innovative solutions that ensure the safety and effectiveness of military personnel worldwide, focusing on durability, mobility, and performance. Responsibilities: Evaluate powerpack configurations in-vehicle and on test benches, utilizing varied combinations of engines, transmissions, MGUs, cooling systems, air handling units, and final drives. Develop and execute test procedures across all stages—from unit build and instrumentation to installation, execution, post-processing, and reporting. Conduct testing at component level, FUPP dyno, and vehicle/chassis rolls. Collaborate with suppliers of powerpack modules and components. Interface with test providers and test facilities to ensure effective test execution. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including IPT leads, systems engineers, logistics, manufacturing, and chief engineers. Support design refinement and release through GDLS-approved processes. Participate in test protocol definition, design validation/verification, issue diagnosis, and technical reporting. Engage in facility operations: installation, configuration, commissioning, and test setup. Contribute to milestone reviews and gateway events with internal and customer stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in testing and development of conventional and/or electrified powertrains
  • Experience with automotive or heavy-duty vehicle powertrains (military land systems preferred)
  • Proficient in data analysis and technical reporting
  • Working knowledge of 3D modeling data interrogation and manipulation
  • Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR regulations
  • On-site work required; travel to partner facilities may be necessary

  • PLM/TeamCenter experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
