PowerBI Platform Developer (Remote)
About The Position
NIWC Atlantic Software Services requires ISHPI to provide emerging Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Navy (DON) information technology, to design, develop, engineer, and maintain systems that will improve customer organizational efficiency. ISHPI provides support in the areas of Administrative Services, Applications Integration Management, Corporate Strategy Planning and Execution, Information Assurance (IA), Information Resource Management, and Information Technology (IT) Operations. Further task includes new standards engineering, prototype installation, application development, data interoperability, system design, system management and maintenance, data collection, analysis, and other management and implementation efforts in support of data translation, data mediation, and data mapping. Job performance includes creating new development solutions and/or the re-engineering of existing solutions to improve automated functionality throughout the command.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, Mathematics or a related BS STEM degree from an accredited university. A concentration in computer science is highly desired.
- Required 2 (two) to five (5) years of related experience.
- Experience with PowerBI, PowerApps and PowerAutomate
- Experience with using, modifying, and creating relational databases, queries, reports to track project management metrics.
- Experience with generating reports in PowerBI for command dashboards for multiple audiences.
- Ability to implement requirements as designated
- Ability to modify existing Dataverse databases to include additional columns, dashboards, reports, etc.
- Ability to write, troubleshoot, monitor Power Automate Flows to provide automated notifications to users given a set of requirements.
- Ability to create technical documentation including design documents, user guides, etc. for end users of the application(s).
- Self starter, able to work independently given a backlog of tasks and prioritization.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II - Must have, or obtain within 4 months, at least one of the following: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate Security), CySA+ (CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst), GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional), GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials Certification), CompTIA Security+ CE, CND (Certified Network Defender), or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)
- Requires U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD government security clearance.
