About The Position
The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Maintenance Laborer (Power Washer) to work at our Memphis Mill Services location in Memphis, TN. The Maintenance Laborer (Power Washer) performs power washing, and manual labor maintaining the plant yard and maintenance shop. Benefits Competitive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Prescription, 401(K) with 3% Employer Contribution, Long- and Short-term Disability Tuition Reimbursement for qualified skilled trade programs Student Loan Repayment Program Employee Referral Program Responsibilities The Maintenance Laborer (Power Washer) will: Use a shovel and bobcat or skid steer to keep plant yard free of debris and spilled slag material Maintain the yard and maintenance shop Clean and maintain walkways, conveyors, screens, steps, and ladders Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections along with routine greasing, oiling, and fueling Load and transport materials Dump material in the designated areas Assist plant operator with plant maintenance activities Power wash mobile equipment, plant, and related components Monitor changes in equipment performance and reports potential malfunctions to maintenance personnel Use two-way radio to communicate with mill site personnel Maintains cleanliness of vehicle Keep records and reports Meets customer service requirements Complies with all safety regulations and policies Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor Skills The ideal candidate will have: Ability to operate bobcat or skid steer and have the ability to shovel Ability to operate power washer and a man lift Ability to sit, stand, walk, and work outside for an extended period of time Ability to work at elevated heights and climb on, into and out of equipment Basic mechanical aptitude Knowledge of materials Ability to read and write Good eye-hand coordination Knowledge of appropriate safety procedures High School diploma or equivalent To Apply Please submit your resume. Requirements
