The Power Systems Test Engineer is responsible for testing, validating, and troubleshooting electrical systems and circuits for various applications. This role focuses on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of power systems through rigorous testing, simulation, and analysis. The position collaborates closely with design, manufacturing, and project teams to supportproduct development and deployment, providing insights for continuous improvement. This is a mid-level role emphasizing hands-on test engineering rather than system design.Detailed DescriptionPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following: Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, procedures, and scripts for electrical and power systems. Conduct functional, performance, and reliability testing of power electronics systems, including DC/DC converters and high-current designs. Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve system-level issues identified during testing or in production. Work closely with design and manufacturing teams to support validation, qualification, and problem resolution. Simulate and measure system performance using tools such as PSPICE, LTSPICE, and other relevant measurement equipment. Collect, analyze, and interpret test data, and provide clear reporting to stakeholders. Recommend improvements to enhance system performance, reliability, or manufacturability. Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and verify component performance. Stay current with industry trends, standards, and testing methodologies.
