About The Position

McClure Engineering is seeking entry-level Electrical Drafters to work alongside other talented engineers and designers dedicated to engineering excellence on a wide range of projects involving complex building and campus systems! As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, this position is responsible for providing mechanical, electrical or plumbing design support on a wide range of projects involving complex building and campus systems solutions. You will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure that designs are accurate, functional, and meet project specifications. Drafters have the ability to meet fast-paced deadlines while maintaining quality design, adapt to changes in plans and communicate clearly in both oral and written communication

Requirements

  • Proven experience in performing short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard software such as PTW, SKM, ETAP or Easy Power for power system analysis
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, modeling and reporting
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting and presenting study results
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Completion of at least a 2-year technical degree emphasizing electrical power systems.
  • 2–5 years of professional experience in power system studies.

  • Preference given to candidates holding a 4-year Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field.
