About The Position

Electrical Engineer (High‑Power Systems) Role Summary Seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in high‑power system engineering , ideally from the Oil & Gas, Marine, or Heavy Machinery industries. The role involves designing, analyzing, and supporting high‑power electrical systems used in industrial and marine environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong experience in high‑power system engineering (medium voltage & high voltage exposure preferred).
• Proven background in industries such as Oil & Gas , Marine , or Heavy Machinery .
• Knowledge of electrical power system components: ✔ Motors & drives ✔ Transformers ✔ Switchgear ✔ Generators ✔ Protection systems
• Experience with load flow analysis, relay coordination, arc flash studies, and system modeling tools (ETAP, SKM, or similar).
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Familiarity with industrial safety standards and hazardous area classifications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high‑power electrical systems for industrial, offshore, marine, or heavy-machinery applications.
• Perform system‑level analysis, load calculations, short‑circuit studies, grounding, and protection coordination.
• Work with power distribution systems, motors, drives, switchgear, transformers, and control systems.
• Review electrical schematics, single‑line diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical, instrumentation, and project teams for integrated system solutions.
• Support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC, IEEE, ABS, API, etc.).
• Provide technical support for field operations and resolve high‑power electrical issues.
