Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in technical leadership with industrial power system design, development, and testing, including data centers.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with electrical distribution, energy storage, and electrical generation technologies, including other microgrid resources.
  • Experience with high voltage, medium voltage, and low voltage systems.
  • Understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) and building codes.
  • Ability to solve technical problems across the electrical engineering and controls domain.

Responsibilities

  • Lead executive team members on creating future data center architecture concepts and designs.
  • Investigate renewable power generation and storage technologies, and find best ways to implement them.
  • Create and maintain a plan of record for electrical single-line and layouts that will help quick implementation in the field.
  • Develop architecture and products which will form the reference design for Google data centers.
  • Implement solutions that lead to fast, cost effective construction and delivery.
