About The Position
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to contribute to the design and development of advanced power protection and distribution systems. This is a long-term, direct hire opportunity offering hands-on engineering work, collaboration across teams, and strong growth potential.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD/design software
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with electrical test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, signal generators, network analyzers)
- Experience working with three-phase power systems
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems at the product level, including component selection, thermal considerations, and interconnection hardware
- Apply knowledge of analog and digital circuitry, magnetics, and thermal design principles
- Develop technical documentation such as schematics, specifications, and bills of materials
- Design power and control circuits for switchboard applications
- Integrate third-party components into power distribution systems
- Participate in design reviews to ensure reliability and performance
- Provide ongoing engineering support for both new and existing products
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and subsystems in a hands-on environment
- Assist with compliance and safety certifications (UL, CSA, IEC standards)
