About The Position

Power Systems Application Engineer with hands-on grid experience responsible for development customization and delivery of transmission power system applications for electric utilities with focus on EMS SCADA and mission critical real time systems. The role requires strong software engineering skills combined with deep domain knowledge in transmission power systems and grid operations.

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of work experience in development customizing and delivering Energy Management Systems for Electric Power Utilities leveraging industry practices
• Knowledgeable and proficient in Electric SCADA Power DMS Transmission EMS implementations
• 5 years of experience with C Java and SQL or Oracle Database
• 5+ years of experience with OOPS skills with C++ Full stack Java or other related language
• 5+ years of experience with EMS and AEMS product design and development
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems SQL shell scripting and ability to read and interpret logs and debug files
• 5 years’ experience on realtime or mission critical systems including installing fixes on live customer systems
• Proven track record of problem analysis identification and resolution
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
