Responsibilities Join us in leading the change! Electric Power Engineers, Inc. (EPE) works with clients on a global scale designing solutions for renewable energy (solar/wind/battery storage), Generation Interconnection, Transmission Planning, Distribution Planning, Distributed Energy Resources (DER), and Smart Grids. Internships at Electric Power Engineers, Inc. are more than just a job, they’re an experience! Throughout your internship, you will develop skills to advance professionally and academically. How you can make an impact : The Power Systems Intern will assist one of the engineering teams. All positions will report to an experienced engineer and be exposed to exciting projects building valuable industry knowledge. Through this opportunity, the intern will gain hands-on experience and perform research in-line with study requirements. Qualifications Bring your passion, here's what’s needed: Completion of, or current enrollment in, a bachelor’s degree program with a major in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university. Experience of PSCAD and PSSE (preferred) Completion of, or current enrollment in, power systems fundamentals class(es) (strongly preferred) Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher Location : This position will be in person at one of the following locations: Austin, TX or Champaign IL. Requirements
