About The Position

As a Power System Design Engineer (for Robotics and Power tool), you will perform system analysis, schematic and PCB layout design of motor drive hardware including MCUs, Sensors, power stages, protection circuit etc. for Robotic and power tool applications. In your new role you will: Perform system analysis, schematic and PCB layout design of motor drive hardware including MCUs, Sensors, power stages, protection circuit etc. for Robotic and power tool applications. Perform system level validation tests and generate detail reports for hardware, firmware and GUI of motor drive systems. Work with application marketing manager and other system application engineers closely to provide detail technical support to customers to adopt Infineon's motor drive system solutions. Write application notes and technical papers for motor drive systems. Develop technical training material and perform training/seminars for FAEs. Support FAEs and customers to solve technical issues.

Requirements

• M. S. in EE with minimum 3 years experiences or B.S. in EE with minimum 5 years experiences in power converter design.
• Hands on experiences in schematic and PCB design with EDA tools such as Cadence Allegro and Altium.
• Familiar with micro controllers and communication interfaces such as SPI, I2C, Can and Ethernet.
• Deep knowledge of Robotics and motor drive system.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with high-level of self-discipline and a candid attitude.

Benefits

• Minimum of $126,560 base salary per year
• Maximum of $174,020 base salary per year
• Eligible to participate in an incentive plan
