Power Platform Technical Consultant-AI & Automation
About The Position
We are looking for a skilled and forward-thinking Power Platform Technical Consultant to deliver innovative, AI-enhanced business solutions using Copilot Studio and the Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will have experience building solutions with Copilot Studio, Power Apps, and Power Automate, and will be comfortable integrating AI Builder, Azure AI services, and Dynamics 365 where needed. This role requires a combination of strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for driving customer success.
Requirements
- 6+ years working in professional services in a consulting role
- 6+ years of experience in Power Platform
- Presenting complex development topics to both business and technical personnel
- Proven experience with Copilot Studio (Bot Framework, Q&A maker is a plus)
- Developing; Canvas apps, Model Driven apps and/or Power Pages
- Hands-on experience in developing and registering custom Power Platform plugins
- Having a strong understanding of best practices for environments, security, permissions, and application lifecycle management (ALM)
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Customer Insights) preferred
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks such as React or Angular is a strong plus
- Knowledge of Azure services including App Services, Queues, Service Bus, Function Apps, and Identity Management
- Experience with version control systems and Agile development methodologies is desirable
- PL 900 Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals
- PL-200 Power Platform Functional Consultant
- PL-400 Power Platform Developer
- PL-600 Power Platform Solution Architect
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy technical solutions using the Power Platform (Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Power Automate).
- Participate in workshops with customers and business analysts to gather and understand business requirements
- Implement integrations with third-party applications, services, and APIs
- Conduct PoCs (Proof of Concepts) and demos to showcase configured Copilot Studio / Power Platform solutions
- Ensure best practices in governance, security, and performance optimization across Power Platform environments.
- Generate technical documentation to enable successful transition to customers
- Perform quality assurance to ensure the solutions function as expected
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments of the Power Platform and provide ongoing consultation to clients on best practices and new features
