Requirements

  • Solid technical foundation and hands-on experience delivering business applications.
  • Basic business analysis skills to work closely with stakeholders and gather requirements.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying ahead of Microsoft’s technology roadmap.
  • PL-400 Power Platform Developer Associate certification.
  • Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in Agile environments and using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
  • Experience developing and deploying solutions within a Department of Defense (DoD) environment, including adherence to security, compliance, and data governance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain canvas and model-driven Power Apps for diverse business processes.
  • Create automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline manual processes and integrate with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and third-party systems.
  • Build interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI for data visualization and decision support.
  • Utilize Dataverse for secure, scalable data storage and modeling, ensuring effective use of relationships, business rules, and security roles.
  • Integrate solutions with SharePoint Online, including document libraries, lists, permissions, and metadata.
  • Partner with stakeholders to elicit, document, and refine functional and technical requirements.
  • Analyze current business processes and recommend automation or optimization opportunities using Power Platform capabilities.
  • Create process maps, wireframes, and functional specifications to guide development efforts.
  • Perform testing, troubleshoot issues, and refine solutions based on feedback.
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and resolve defects in a timely manner.
  • Package and deploy solutions across environments following established governance practices.
  • Develop and deliver solution demonstrations, user training sessions, and supporting materials to drive adoption and ensure effective use of Power Platform and SharePoint solutions.
  • Maintain solution documentation, including architecture diagrams, data models, and user guides.
  • Stay updated on new Power Platform features, best practices, and governance standards.
