About The Position

Enterprise Horizon Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer with an active Secret clearance to support our DOD customer. This role is hands-on and focuses on building integrated solutions using Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate to connect data across systems, deliver actionable insights, and streamline operational processes. This position is on-site in Mechanicsburg, PA, and candidates must be within driving distance for on-site collaboration at least 3 days a week.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • CompTIA Security+ certification (or equivalent IAT II certification)
  • Must be able to work on-site in Mechanicsburg, PA
  • Strong hands-on development experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI and Power Automate
  • Experience building Power BI dashboards using multiple data sources
  • Hands‑on experience building dashboards, applications, and automated workflows in a production environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Power Platform or Power BI certification highly desired

Responsibilities

  • Build, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards using multiple enterprise data sources.
  • Integrate Power BI with Azure DevOps and other systems to support portfolio and execution reporting.
  • Perform data shaping, modeling, and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Develop clear, intuitive visualizations that translate complex data into leadership-ready insights.
  • Partner with stakeholders to refine dashboards as reporting needs evolve.
  • Use Power BI "Data Activator" agents to monitor live streams (like supply chain levels or network security logs).
  • Use Power BI to trigger an Agentic loop when it identifies a trend that deviates from the norm.
  • Design and develop advanced Power Apps to support portfolio, workflow, and operational management.
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications to improve usability and performance.
  • Manage development backlogs and deliver iterative updates.
  • Integrate Power Apps with Power BI, Microsoft 365, Azure DevOps, SharePoint Online, Teams, Outlook and Exchange Online, Copilot Studio, and related systems.
  • Utilize Power Plaform apps as front-end tools to Oracle or other data stores.
  • Connect Power Platform apps to a MuleSoft data integration layer that supports APIs and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers.
  • Create automation workflows that connect systems and reduce manual effort.
  • Improve process consistency and operational efficiency through scalable automation.
  • Ensure workflows are maintainable and aligned with program needs.
  • Use Azure DevOps as a core development platform for reporting and analytics.
  • Develop dashboards that support portfolio tracking, performance measurement, and delivery visibility.
  • Apply understanding of DevOps development processes to inform reporting design.
  • Work closely with program teams and leadership to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Document solutions to support adoption and long‑term maintainability.
  • Assist teams transitioning to new reporting tools, applications, and automated workflows.
